Bhubaneswar, also known as the Temple town of India, is not just famous for its grand temples adorned with beautiful architecture but also for being the Centre of Business and Commerce. The city’s ancient history has been an attraction for the pilgrims across India.

Bhubaneswar in its literal terms means Lord of the Universe and true to its name it has quite a few number of temples and historic places surrounding it. Today, Bhubaneswar is not just about the rich past that it carries in itself, it has also evolved as a Business hub and has come a long way ever since.

Puri –

Puri is one of the ‘Must Visit’ pilgrimage sites. It is one of the Char Dhams and is also a very beautiful place that one should visit.

Apart from this temple, Puri is also very famous for its beaches. One needs to take some time off and visit these beaches.

Puri Beach –

One can find a fine coastline filled with the natural beauty of the Bay of Bengal in this beach. It is located 35 km away from the Sun Temple. This beach is recommended for one and all looking to get away from the city for some peace and solitude.

Konark –

Konark is famous all over the world as the state of Sun Temple. Not only that, this place also comes under the UNESCO World Heritage Site. One should visit this place during the Annual Dance festival when the whole city is in the festive mood.

The Annual Dance Festival that takes place here is a full five day long cultural delight where in, unique dance talents from all over the country are invited and given the stage to perform. As the cherry on the cake, these celebrations happen on the backdrop of the Sun temple which only adds to the magnificence of the whole place.

Another place that one should visit is the Sun temple which is an architectural marvel built in the 13 th Century. One can hire a Bhubaneswar to Konark cabs to get to these place.

Konark is also very famous for the pristine beaches found there. Konark beach is one of cleanest beach around the country where in, one can enjoy the nature of the place by taking a walk or just lazing around on the beach.
